just a little spare time

so the husby took the little kiddie outside to play so i could do something creative. he's so great! here is my new mantel/art for my walls. i also have some kitchen updates i haven't gotten to taking pictures of yet. and everyone hold your breath for september cuz we will be painting and redoing the bedrooms! i cant wait!!

i'm not really a slacker, really

so i havent done ANYTHING to my house recently. which would explain the absence of posts here. here is what i have been doing with my time (other than lots of lounging in the yard and swimming).

here are some pictures taken by the husby of our booth at farm chicks. it was tons of fun, lots of work and i'm glad its over:) my house appreciates it too. i'm almost caught up from neglecting it for so long.

there you have it my new/old decorations. things are kinda crazy around here since i'm getting ready for farm chicks. but i'm sure afterwards i will have inspiration with lots of cool new summer pictures!

oh well hello

zula has turned one! it was the best party i think i've ever thrown. we had tons of people in our house. the kids wore animal masks and the adults wore party hats. we had cute cupcakes, decorations and lots of fun.

i had the best time planning this party! we had jalepeno dip, meatballs, chips and salsa, guacamole, and cupcakes for dessert (gluten free ones for zula and aaron). 'til next year!
